Over the past few years, the Havant Civic Society website has occasionally spread beyond the St. Faith’s ward, a reflection of the fact that there are a number of issues which apply to other parts of the borough and sometimes borough-wide.
The intention of Havant Matters is to offer a single voice to the wider community of residents’ associations and other local community groups, while enabling the original HCS website to focus back on the town centre issues and activities.
Many of these communities are already connected through the Havant Borough Residents’ Alliance which does not have a website of its own.
The intention of the site is to remain politically neutral, informative and where necessary campaigning for the good of the residents and small business of Havant Borough.
